We consider the full windshield one of the more challenging areas of the 2018–2024 Tiguan.

There are two separate concerns:

1. Properly protecting the vehicle from installation solution.
2. Being extremely careful during glass preparation.

Before installation, the dashboard area needs to be properly protected so solution isn't allowed to travel behind the dash.

But there's another concern that customers may never think about:

The windshield itself.

There is a potential risk if the installer isn't careful.

From our experience working with these vehicles, extra care needs to be taken around the corners of the windshield during preparation.
